Welcome to the unofficial CyanogenMod 10.2 nightlies

The releases will co-inside and the build start time is at 03:01 UTC every night and should be uploaded soon after. If at anytime the builds are not there, then there was a problem building the ROM, and we will have a look at it ASAP.

These builds are compiled from the latest CyanogenMod repos and device repos on device, kernel and vendor.

These are NativeSD builds Repartitioning may be required
With aging nand storage filled with BBs, a crappy filesystem (namely yaffs2) and high speed sdcards these days it really makes sense to mount /system and /data on the sdcard. prerequisite is a fast sdcard (class 6, class 10 - they're really cheap these days). transfer rates are ~2.5x-3x nand speed with a decent sdcard and we can benefit from ext4. of course, one needs a compatible recovery (built with this change included) and a partitioned sdcard. e.g. minitool with win and fdisk with *nix.

Quote:

Partition layout
Quote:

Device partitions (cLK):
* boot: 10
* recovery: 10
* cache: 5
* misc: 1
Quote:

You need to create two primary ext4 partitions in addtition to the regular fat32 partition on your sdcard.

SDcard partitions:
* 1st primary sdcard partition: fat32 storage (should already be there)
* 2nd primary sdcard partition: ext4 (at least 500MB)
* 3rd primary sdcard partition: ext4 (e.g. 2000MB)

The first partition will be your regular sd storage.
The second partition will be /system.
The third partition will be /data.

You can use MiniTool Partition Wizard with Windows and fdisk with Linux

Sense 4 NativeSD

Hello everyone! This is a rom that i've been using a long time now and decided to upload! Its pretty smooth and fast and im pretty satisfied with it...Actualy its a mix of many roms into one...

Working:
Wifi
Gps
Audio
Camera
Headphone
In-call mic
Sd-card
...
Not Working:
Audio Recording
Bluetooth
Video Recording

In order to install this rom you need an ext4 partition in your sd card bigger than 1gb...The installation will create a folder named HD2-Sense4.0 in which the rom will be installed..After installation reboot 3 times so the rom settles...It supports magldr,clk,haret...

Im not a developer,im a proud user of hd2 and i like to test things...In this rom i would like to fix the microphone in order to use it in apps like shazaam, gstrings, etc, which gives error "mic is used by another app" but i dont have the knowledge for doing it so any help would be really appreciated...

Great thanks to all the devs that made this possible and kept our device alive!:good:

Enjoy!

Well, here we go...

This is not the way I wanted to post this thread, but fate was stronger than me :)

Guys, I spent last several months working on a stable Sense 4.1 base for our HD2. I succeeded in a lot of things. I got BT working. I got mic working in applications. I got this damn thing running smoother than my wife's Galaxy S3 (I'm not kidding)...

So, yesterday my HD2 died on me. For the second time. I can't afford to fix it anymore, I don't have neither time nor money for that. Mainly time... So, unfortunately, I have to stop the development right here.

Someone, please take it from here. It would be a real pity for me if this ROM died together with my HD2.

Here's the link. Enjoy.

UPD: big thanks to philipped346 for fixing the installer script! The ROM should be fully functional now. Just install ICS camera or LG camera from market and you're all set.
REMEMBER: keep your system partition small! philliped364 reports that 55MB works just fine

https://mega.co.nz/#!WhpRzJQa!DOdybh...6N52mPTfNkXk1k

UPD2: big thanks to RobbieP, ya5, philliped346 and others for helping me out and creating the following instructions. What you will read below is an option, the ROM will work just fine if you don't do this. However, following these instructions will create an ext2 loop over data partition, thus greatly speeding up DB access and overall responsibility of the device. So...

1. Install the ROM normally. Let it boot for the first time. Wait for ~5 minutes after the initial lock screen appears. Do not unlock or run the setup wizard.

2. Connect the phone to USB and run ADB shell

3. In ADB, say
Code:

dd if=/dev/zero of=/data0/data.img bs=1024 count=320000

losetup /dev/block/loop0 /data0/data.img

mke2fs -T ext2 /dev/block/loop0

Note that the first command may take several minutes to complete. Just be patient.

The rest will be done by init.rc. If data.img was created and formatted correctly, you'll get a working EXT2 loop over YAFFS.

4. Reboot and wait for ~30 minutes for the ROM to settle.

4.5 (Optional): To check that your ext2 loop works, run mount command in ADB and make sure that /data/data is mounted on a loop device.

5. Go through the setup wizard, allow it to settle for another minute or two.

6. Run Quadrant and better believe your eyes :)

Some technical details about the ROM:
Config: Data on Ext, DB on NAND, looped over EXT2. Yeah, it's returded fast.
System: mostly taken from other Sense 4.1 devices, proprietary files taken from several half-working Sense 4.x ROMs flying around here. Sound system taken from EvoHD2 ROM (yeah, CM9). Credits to Mr Evil for these files.
Kernel: Dorimanx 7.2 HWA (credits to Dori please)
Framework: stock Desire X ROM as a base, heavily modified to work with CM9 sound system, heavily optimized for smoothness.

NOTE for DEVs:

I was stunned to discover that DISABLING HW acceleration makes scrolling silky-smooth in 99% of the applications. Exceptions are: Rosie, Browser and... uh... that's it, I think. So, I REVERSED the way framework enables HW acceleration. Here's how: if the application doesn't request HW acceleration, it doesn't get it by default. If it requests it (HWAcceleration=true in the manifest), it DOESN'T get it either. If hwAcceleration=false in manifest, it DOES get it. This way, I only had to modify Rosie and the Browser and set hwAcceleration=false for them to actually GET the acceleration. The other apps just denied the acceleration natively. Please be aware of this change :)

Sense: stock Desire X ROM. I've got permission to use MyOne ROM (see Desire X forum), it has full 3D effects enabled and runs smooth as silk on HD2 (it's pretty damn smooth even with live wallpapers!)

What should work:
Everything. I know that WiFi router doesn't work, but that's it, more or less. Video shooting works at 15FPS. Sound recording works. Voice input works. BT works.

Known problems:
It does crash from time to time. Needs more work on system files. I was planning to recompile gralloc from CM9 to use it here, but didn't have the privilege to finish that.
Adding widgets to the home screen is LAGGY. It works, just be patient. Sorry, it's a known bug with this Rosie...

............. Well, that's it. I'll be watching this thread. Don't ask me to develop anything though, I can't do anything without a working HD2. Sorry guys and good luck to anyone who will take it from here.

Bye

P.S.

Guys, I'm doing something I never thought I would do
but I really want to continue this development...

I'm shamelessly adding a "Donate to me" button, so anyone who wants to help can send me a couple of bucks. my target is to raise enough money to buy either a used HD2 in a fair condition, or a new touch screen assembly.
I hereby promise not to buy myself a new house with this money or spend it on gambling

[Dev] HD2 multi-script

I have a script and tools hosted on dropbox.

Stick with the beta script unless you're interested in testing.

What the script can do.
1. Essentially replace aroma in the most basic sense. [Can be made to run with]
It will take any ROM.zip convert the initrd.gz to the desired type (DataOnExt, NativeSD, DirectSD) and copy them to /boot and /boot_dir
Will strip the updater-script of the ROM.zip down to the symlink/set_perm lines along with extract data and system folders.
(Essentially turning an aroma ROM.zip to a basic CWM ROM.zip)
2. Mount appropriate folders
Just tell the script the type of install and the name of the ROM (i.e the ROM folder name on ext4).
Then you can flash any zip you want (as long as the zip doesn't change the mounts)
3. Modify the ramdisk
If you just want the ramdisk modified that can be arranged
4. System install.

In consideration.
It's difficult to get things running as they should without a device to reliably test things on, so need user feedback to correct stuff.
I have been unsuccessful thus far in getting a portadroid type up and running, I'm not sure why at this point.
If the interest is there I can try and add in the updating mechanic from portadroid to Native/Direct, i.e where you have a named folder(s) (open to suggestion on folder names) present in /sdcard/NativeSD and these folders are copied over to the ext4 folders on boot.

How to run:
Instruction can be seen on the dropbox page but:
Simpliest way is via adb.
Copy the bins folder to /sdcard/bins
Reboot to recovery
Push the script to /tmp for example: adb push *.sh /tmp/
Run the script:
adb shell
cd tmp
chmod 777 *.sh
./*.sh
Then read the prompts.

Alternatively you can run it directly as ./*.sh {opt} $type $ROM_NAME $data_NAME $systeminstall

Feel free to report any issues, suggestions/improvements.
I'll be posting a recovery with most of the needed stuff bundled in, so running it will be easier for devs.

Writing the script took some doing (especially as it's in dash - not bash), any feedback would be appreciated.

Credits due.
The portadroid guys (if/when it's up and running)
[cedesmit, Takaaki, boonbing]
The Native/DirectSD guys
[securecrt,Xylograph]
RobbieP for testing thus far.

TRDS Google Apps: I have not provided Google apps with the ROM that can be dowloaded from playstore at users wish.
However if you like TRDS google apps (gapps that invert UI colors when we switch real dark slim) you can download and manually install each apk (not by flashing in recovery) from slims official website

Installation Tips
• System partition size 380MB
• Boot partition size 13MB for MAGLDR bootloader and 5MB for CLK bootloader (Credits Robbie)
• First boot may take around 10-15 min
• Once you see language screen let it settle for 3mins, do not touch the screen.
• Enable developers setting by tapping repeatedly 10 times on Setting > About Phone > Build Number
• You can adjust animation as you like in developers setting but Just make sure you have Animation Duration Scale set to 0.5 Anything below 0.5 may cause display glitches
• Enable Settings > Developers Option > Force Gpu rendering
• you may need to Get rooted by Setting > Developers Option > Root accesss > select "apps" or "apps and adb"

Please volunteer as this is a newer kernel so I need to know which installation method boots and which doesnt boot, so that I can try to fix it for
also kindly give the following details below,

• HD2 type: EU (448MB) or Tmous(1024MB)
• Type of installation: NativeSD, Nand, Data2ext
• Bootloader: cLK or Magldr
• Recovery type and version
• Radio
• Partition size : boot, system, data, cache, sd-ext, sdcard
• Type of sdcard
• Type of battery: Original hd2 or extended battery
• kernel logs (kmsg) and logcat if possible ( if kernel wont boot, you wont be able to get logcat but if you have a working NativeSD ROM you can get the kernel logs (kmsg)
How? If kernel hangs during boot, open the battery cover, use a pen or something and hit the red reset button (do not remove battery as if battery is removed you will loose the kernel logs) now when the device reboots boot into the working nativesd rom and then open any root explorer and copy last_kmsg in proc folder. (/proc/last_kmsg) then past it to the sdcard and upload to website. alteratively you can do "adb shell cat proc/last_kmsg" from you computer with the usb cable connected and upload the contents

Note: This Kernel and ROM are ION based unlike other ROM/kernel so now that has been published are PMEM based
So this kernel is not compatible with any other ROM's (except for CM11_ION), so do not waste your time trying
Also this ROM is not compatible with any other kernels, so again do not waste your time trying
I have many user doing this an saying it is not working so I have to mention this over here before any else tries

[Dec 27, 2014][Rom MIUI V5 - 4.11.28 - Multilanguage][Themed V6 - Latest Version]

I would like to share my work with you.

MIUI V5 - VERS. 4.11.28 - Multilanguage - 4.2.2 -THEMED V6

I have taken from the drawer my trusty HD2. For a long time I wanted a miui rom on this terminal immortal for me, that would work in both nand that native-sd pure.
rom native, is - gtbluesky - I thank

Here's my job:
-Translated into multilanguage most apks (system and application) the most important
- Reformulated the whole package
- Added double swap (ACHIEVED The 234 MB - RAM FREE)
- Themed v6 (lockscreen, status bar and miuihome trasparent, PAK clock V6, icons, etc .....)
- 1.2 ghz overclock
- Addition installation in Eu HD2
- miui keyboard + Chinese keyboard
- GAPPS INCLUDING

Rom smooth and stable, small battery drain in normal use. Consumption obviously increases after frequent reboots. The only anomaly is in phone settings / call waiting. Other anomalies or bugs: TEEL ME

In nand = Work natively, it should work only in T-Mobile (576MB ram)
my tests however, have been made on htc Hd2 (448MB ram)

My configuration:

clk 1.5.1.6
clk/settings/EXTROM enable (disable EXTROM must appear)
spl 2:08 HSPL
RADIO 2.15.52.14
Recovery: TWRP V2.6.3.0

- SYSTEM = 375MB
- SD-EXT 3 GB (MY HD2 EU)

INSTALLATION:

NAND: FOR T-MOBILE AND HTC HD2

- PUT THE ZIP IN SD CARD
- FORMAT NAND
- RECOVERY
- WIPE: DALVIK CACHE -CACHE- ANDROID SECURE - DATE - SYSTEM - SD-EXT
- INSTALL ROM
- CHOOSE: INSTALL TO NAND ....

FOR T-MOBILE: REBOOT ....

FOR HD2 = NO REBOOT !!!
INSTALL PATCHER
REBOOT

NATIVE-SD

- INSTALL ROM
- CHOOSE: INSTALL TO SD-EXT
- REBOOT

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE DEVICE CONFIGURED USE SEARCH XDA

- I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards

TIPS

GO CENTER SECURITY / PERMITS / ENABLE: PERMITS ROOT
GO SETTINGS / DISPLAY / FONT / SMALL MIUI
COUNCIL NOT IMPORT NO BACKUP SETTINGS PREVIOUS ROM

For any complaints of lag or other .... install: Pureperformance CM : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2360670
Did little test and I did not see anomalies (eg: In my rom Xperia J, dramaticaly lowers the brightness screen),
delete any apk you do not use.
Also use a sd-card with good reading speed, even for NAND EU Hd2
- Miui, especially the latest versions is heavier than many other rom. For many applications of the system.
Even more if multilanguage!
Xioami.com exist on many threads related to this issue and on Device, with a lot more hardware performance of Hd2.
The nature of the publication of my rom is for those who love the style Miui. Do not create a rom, for games.
I use this rom from a bit of time every day. its normal. But it certainly does not compare to my rom MIUI (same version) on Z1C .....
That is why I limited to the maximum the use of additional themes that have burdened 1GHZ processor and less than 512MB of ram Hd2.

Installation Tips
This ROM is under developement and in its very early alpha stages.
ROM is only meant for developement.
You need to download and flash the attached (link below) TWRP recovery for installation (Other recovery wont work)
Installation method is DirectSD which needs 2 sd-ext partition 1GB each.
I wont provide or support any other type such as Nand, Data2SD or NativeSD of installation during alpha stages.
Please do not ask me for installation method.
The ROM take 20 minutes to boot. If you see the lockscreen and it goes back to bootanimation, Remove battery and reboot again.
The ROM is very unstable and may reboot in few minutes.

If you agree to the above terms
Download recovery http://d-h.st/fsOe
Download ROM http://d-h.st/TS5

My Git will be uploaded shortly
