HD2 becomes EXTREMELLY sluggish after removing Android

Hi All,

Today just now I have flashed my phone with TMOUS HD2 with RUU 2.13 on earlier installed Android.
Android was installed as NAND.

After this RUUing, the phone has become extremely sluggish and hands every now and then.
I feel that it seems to be synchronizing with something. (The strange part, I dint any of my logins to connect).

Could anyone please guide how to get rid of this and make my phone smooth.

Later I plan to install Win 7.8 on HD2

Hey guys. Ive made roms before but never really posted them to anyone apart from me and friends. So please be gentle lol :)

But since I seen Sense 5 ive wanted to make something like it.

So ive made a Jellybean rom with sense 5 look with "Scrollable blinkfeed style", using Flipboard etc, proper sense 5 lock screen. etc (See screenshots)

problem after install android

well this id what i have do

1 ) format SD to fat 32

2 ) make 1 partition 1 GIGA EXT4

3 ) install HSPL 2.08

4 ) install radio 2.15

5 ) install jellybin 3.0

when my HD2 start up he work for several seconds and then the screen go fully dark ,

i have try several version of android and all the same

i have install WP7.8 , and its work perfect ( so its not hardware problem )

any chance anyone can help me ?

My phone allways stops internet connection automatically and after view minutes back starts it again with t-mobile netherland. Is there maybe a data netwerk fix??

[DEV][Porting]Sense 5 on HD2[WIP]

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING
As the thread's title says, this thread is for devs who want to try porting/port sense 5.
Maybe devs can all share knowledge/fixes/thoughts on porting a sense 5 rom to the HD2
As of right now, there's NO port/working port. There is although work on it(me and aazzam16661) trying to do it. But AFAIK, i'm a noob :D
Now take a moment and Please Read carefully:
  • DO NOT disturb the thread/flame/troll/post unrelated stuff
  • DO NOT ask for a rom/help on flashing a rom if any gets available
  • DO NOT post silly/noob questions. read the rules first
  • If you get to some point others haven't reached yet, Please DO post what you've done with results
  • DO NOT flood the thread with all similar questions like thanks/please/how/:cry:/..........
  • NO ONE IS RESPONSIBLE if you brick your device in the near future. It's your fault and probably fixable by flashing right stuff
  • Finally, This port is way beyond my knowledge, and i don't have any idea if it will or not happen. But shared forces can achieve much

OP will be updated with contributors/people who help/ideas/usefull stuff and progress and more organized in the future.
Whoever starts on working on port, please mention it either by pm or post when you have something useful.
[Q]How rom should boot?: Using either nand with dataonext AND media/sysapp/lib on ext (complicated), OR NativeSD. Working with clk or magldr or haret if nativeSD
[Q]Will it be compatible with HD2?: Not sure. Specs are different, wayy different, but This is XDA-DEVELOPERS so it's definitely not impossible.

base rom is my AOKP 4.2.2 and i have insert the carbon system. all works good only the calling have a problem

- outgoing calls works (i think)
- incoming calls not work
- networks work
- sound work

this is a charity rom from me. a Member from my team is very ill and needs in the next time medical help and money for medications. Bringing to you SLIM ROM 4.2.2 JellyBean. This is an unofficial ROM which is built from source by merging Evervolvs Legacy code and HD2 related files.

Porting ROMs
This statement is from Slim on their official sites HERE:

"Under the use of ASL SlimRoms offers their source code in Open Source spirit. You can modify, build and distribute the source and roms you built from it to your liking.
We still prefer that you ask us as courtesy and give proper credits for it.
We do not allow the use of our zipped up roms to be used and re-released as a new rom."
This statement is from Slim on their xda site HERE:

So a kind request not to use any files from this ROM in any ways.

Still tons of stuff not tested so expect more bugs, crashes, reboot than the ones that I have already posted.
Must say the SLIM 4.2.2 rom is fast, smooth and light. Since this is initial release I cannot comment stability (only tested for a day) but with your feedback and support, we can get this ROM there.

• On completing Google setup during during first boot, To see launcher, press HOME button.
• Please give 10mins for ROM to settle down before installing any apps
• Please don't flash any script for speed such as V6 supercharger, NOS etc etc.
• Installation instruction and Screenshots you will find in Question/Answer thread on the 4th post
• Update Unfortunately the Google playstore (Vending.apk) I used is not multi dpi compatible, so at 200dpi you wont see some apps or will get incompatible message. Workaround for now is to either change to 240dpi or manual insert files from HERE.

I have ported VILLEC2 U ICS 40 S HTC Europe 2.15.401.100 RUU for HD2 forum !
This is the test build :

Hello to all.

Still continues to improve for MIUI official. Designed for Xiaomi and readily ported to many terminals. Among these our HD2 ! The rom is

multilanguage for Nand and Native Sd. I tried with native sd in the multi-boot and it works very well.

Q/A thread for the ROM

After a few months of work, I present you the one and only original ParanoidAndroid ROM brought to our beloved HD2.
It is compiled from source including all the great PA features.

Installation procedure

5. Increase your memory limit by using the following app (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1661892)

5. Once installed you will not see Google Play store app. You can either install it via Gapps (search for it) OR download the following MIUI supermarket app (attached below)

6. Move the supermarket.apk to your SD card and install it. Once installed, open it and in the search bar write google. You will see lots of app but none showing Google play store. Scroll down till it says 'search other markets'. Click on that and you will see the Google Play store (I guess it is number 2). Download and install it.

7. You should have fully working MIUI v5 with Google play store.
